Religious Rites and Rituals in Singapore People are Expected to Respect in Funerals

aboutus
We are a group of Year 4 Psychology Majors at Nanyang Technological University, undertaking the module HP4274 The Last Dance: Psycho-Socio-Cultural Perspectives on Death, Dying and Bereavement. This website is born out of assessment requirements as well as our desire to promote greater awareness and acceptance of the widely shunned topic of death and dying in the Singapore context, which is considered a taboo in majority of societies. We hope this community project can be a handy source and platform to utilize for the many individuals in Singapore who may find themselves caught in situations of having to attend funerals of other religions, yet not knowing what are expected of them. This comprehensive website serves to bridge this informational gap in our Singapore society and enhance our religious sensitivity and harmony.
